In Memory of Junior
Margaret
A. Miller, 01/21/06
Please take a look at the gorgeous cat below. His name was Junior. He was a young, gorgeous cat who was greatly loved by my friend. However, he isn't around today because some unimaginably cruel person shot him through the neck while he was out walking near his home. Junior was deaf. He probably didn't even know that a predator at least twenty times his size was stalking him. He didn't have a chance. Junior has a legacy though. In the end, goodness will always triumph over evil. In her grief, my friend started ENAH's partnership with the Cartridge Connection to help raise money for our Spay/Neuter Project. Because of Junior, ENAH is going to spay and neuter more cats than ever. Junior will have helped prevent countless homeless kittens from being born, which means that countless animals will be spared from needless suffering. So, once again, cruelty did not triumph. Someday the person who shot Junior will know the full extent of the anguish he caused others. And at that time he is going to wish with all of his heart that he could take it all back.
