EveryoneNeedsAHome’s Spay/Neuter Project

EveryoneNeedsAHome’s Spay/Neuter Project was started on 06/01/03.  The project provides free spaying and neutering of cats and dogs in several Southwest, WI, counties.  This project will continue for as long as we have funding.  As of September 2007, we have spayed or neutered over 600 cats and dogs for Lafayette and Green Counties of Wisconsin. 

It is the dream of EveryoneNeedsAHome to spay or neuter every cat that isn’t specifically used by a professional breeder for breeding purposes.  While this dream is obviously not 100% attainable, the project has been gathering momentum and we hope to have a positive impact on our communities.  Regardless of whether one likes cats or not, it is never acceptable to do nothing in the face of the suffering, starvation and death caused by overpopulation when there is something that can be done to alleviate the situation.  If you want to read the story behind the project:  We Are Our Brothers' Keepers .
